A seasoned college admissions consultant, Kirsten Smith has more than a decade of experience helping students gain admission to their top-choice colleges. Ms. Smith creates an individualized strategy for each student that conveys the student’s unique narrative. Using her extensive background in higher education and her exceptional writing skills, she also guides students through the process of building strong applications and crafting distinctive essays.
Before joining Spark Admissions, Ms. Smith served on the faculty at Cornell University, where she taught first-year writing, working one-on-one with students to improve their writing skills and essays. She understands what it takes to succeed at top colleges and universities and how to prepare for the rigorous admissions process.
Ms. Smith has a master’s degree from Cornell University. She enjoys hiking and cooking with her husband and two children.
