As a senior admissions consultant, Dr. Joe Snyder applies over a decade of experience in
admissions, advising, and teaching to guide his students to obtain admission at their top-choice
colleges and universities. At Princeton University, Dr. Snyder worked in admissions and
recruitment and taught writing intensive courses. These experiences helped to shape his
perspective on what admissions officers at Ivy League and other highly-selective colleges and
universities look for in successful applicants.
Dr. Snyder’s passion is helping students explore their interests, navigate the challenges of high
school, and help them find their voices in their writing. He loves guiding students to develop
unique personal and academic narratives, and constructing compelling essays that stand out in
the competitive admissions process. Joe knows how difficult it is to find the right fit and navigate
college admissions, and he takes pride in being there for students and families every step of the
way.
Dr. Joe Snyder received his PhD from Princeton University. He lives near Washington D.C. with
his wife, his dog Freckles, and his cat Smudge.
