Dr. Rubin is deeply committed to working one-on-one with students and their families to help them reach their college admissions goals.

A former university faculty member and high school teacher, Dr. Rubin understands—and loves working with—adolescents. What’s more, her experience on admissions committees at selective universities means her students have access to firsthand knowledge of their admissions processes.

Dr. Rubin’s practical and research-based experiences make her exceptionally astute in identifying right-fit schools for students based on their academic credentials, interests, passions, and particular institutional needs. She clearly, thoughtfully, and effectively identifies what it takes for students to be admitted to their preferred schools. She is also an expert in brainstorming and editing admissions essays. With Dr. Rubin’s guidance, hundreds of students have identified and been accepted to their top-choice colleges, and universities.

Dr. Rubin holds a doctorate from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education, where she was a Presidential Scholar. Dr. Rubin is also a U.S. Presidential Scholar and a member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association. She lives in Brookline, MA, with her three children and husband, a Harvard and Princeton alumnus and former Massachusetts Institute of Technology faculty member.
