A seasoned college admissions consultant, Jami Williams has more than a decade of experience helping students gain admission to their top-choice colleges. She pairs her extensive knowledge of the college admissions process with her exceptional writing skills to guide students in the creation of outstanding college applications.

Through Jami’s participation in admissions at Johns Hopkins University, she gleaned considerable insight into the qualities and experiences that successful applicants possess. Also, at Johns Hopkins, Jami helped students obtain impactful research, service and internship opportunities to develop the critical thinking and leadership skills necessary to thrive in college and beyond. In addition, Jami has experience with athletic recruiting at Wellesley College and has taught undergraduate students at Stanford University.

At Spark Admissions, Jami works closely with students to craft tailored academic and extracurricular plans that uncover and develop the full extent of their unique capabilities. Moreover, she helps students channel their experiences into cohesive narratives that appeal to admissions committees at top colleges and universities.

Jami is an alumna of Wellesley College, where she double majored in English and Spanish and graduated magna cum laude. She received a Jerome A. Schiff fellowship for her Honors thesis work in Spanish as well as the Cervantes Prize. In addition, Jami holds a graduate degree from Stanford University. She lives in Baltimore, MD, where she loves to hike and perfect cookie recipes with her two children and husband, a high school English teacher.
